Lizzie (Integrative Counsellor)
Lizzie recently completed her Level 4 Diploma in counselling at Kingston College and has now continued her work with Aurora as a qualified counsellor. Lizzie’s training was integrative which allows her to tailor and adapt her work specifically to your needs and perspective. Working collaboratively with you, Lizzie provides a safe space for you to explore and get in touch with your feelings and emotions and helps you to uncover your truths in a safe and non-judgemental way.
Previously, Lizzie has worked as a community link worker supporting and helping individuals to manage their mental health and wellbeing as well as those struggling with alcohol and substance abuse. She has also worked as a Family Support Practitioner delivering interventions that support rehabilitation work for males finishing their probation sentences.
Alongside her placement at Aurora, Lizzie currently works as a domestic abuse advocate within an organisation providing support for businesses and employees who are at risk of domestic abuse. She also volunteers for different charitable organisations which include Family Lives as a parent mentor and RASASC (Guildford Rape and Sexual Abuse Service) as a helpline volunteer.
